From POD dropshipping to eco-friendly options, it’s the perfect solution for creatives and entrepreneurs.

What is a Print on Demand Business?

A print on demand business allows you to create and sell custom-designed products without needing to store inventory. Instead, items are produced and shipped only after a customer places an order. This eliminates the risk of overstocking and reduces upfront costs—perfect for entrepreneurs looking to start a business without breaking the bank.

POD (print on demand) printing is at the heart of this model. From t-shirts and mugs to posters and tote bags, you can sell a wide range of products designed by you and fulfilled by a trusted print on demand platform.

Tips for Growing Your Print on Demand Business

1. Focus on Your Niche

Targeting a specific audience can set your business apart. Instead of trying to appeal to everyone, focus on a niche with high engagement. For example, pet lovers, gamers, or outdoor enthusiasts often seek unique, tailored products that resonate with their interests. Research their needs and create designs that speak directly to them.

2. Invest in Marketing

Marketing is the engine that drives traffic to your store. Use social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest to showcase your products with eye-catching visuals. Combine this with email marketing campaigns to nurture relationships with your customers. Don’t forget to optimize your store for search engines (SEO) by using relevant keywords in your product descriptions and tags. This will help your business rank higher and attract organic traffic.

3. Offer Customisation

Personalization is a big draw for customers. Allow them to add names, dates, or custom messages to your products. This not only increases the perceived value of your items but also encourages customers to share their purchases with friends and family, expanding your reach through word of mouth.

4. Monitor Trends

Stay ahead of the competition by keeping up with the latest trends. Regularly check what’s popular on platforms like Etsy and Pinterest. Seasonal designs and trending topics, such as holidays or viral memes, can help your catalogue stay relevant. Using tools like Google Trends can also give you insights into what your target audience is searching for.

Algorithmic FUE Explained: How Structured Planning Is Changing Hair Transplantation

Few areas of cosmetic surgery have been reshaped by technique and technology as much as hair restoration. Extraction tools have become finer, magnification has improved, and planning has moved from freehand estimates toward structured, protocol-driven work. Yet patients who read about "advanced" or "revolutionary" methods often struggle to separate genuine clinical progress from marketing language. This guide explains how modern FUE works, what it means to plan a transplant algorithmically, how Algorithmic FUE fits into that picture, and how to judge any technology claim critically. From strips to follicular units: a short history For decades, the standard approach to hair transplantation was strip surgery: a thin band of scalp was removed from the back of the head, dissected under microscopes into follicular units, and implanted into the recipient zone. The method works and remains in use for selected cases, but it leaves a linear scar and requires a longer healing period. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) emerged as an alternative in which individual units of one to four hairs are removed directly from the donor area using a small circular punch. The scars are tiny and dispersed, which allows patients to wear short hair without a visible line. As tools and training improved, FUE became the dominant technique worldwide. Its flexibility also created a challenge: because the method can be adapted in many ways, results depend heavily on the surgeon's judgement and discipline. What "algorithmic" planning means in practice In everyday language, an algorithm is simply a defined sequence of decisions. Applied to hair transplantation, it means that the key choices of the operation, where grafts are taken from, which grafts go to which zone, at what angle and density they are implanted, follow a documented logic rather than being made ad hoc during surgery. A structured plan typically addresses several questions in a deliberate order: The value of a structured method is consistency. When each case is reasoned through the same sequence, it is less likely that an important variable will be overlooked on a busy day, and it is easier to review and teach the approach to other physicians. Algorithmic FUE at Hairmedico Clinic Algorithmic FUE is the proprietary technique name used at Hairmedico Clinic in Istanbul, founded and led by Dr. Arslan Musbeh. It describes the clinic's protocol-based approach to planning graft extraction and implantation, and it is applied within a one-patient-per-day schedule so that the surgeon can supervise each step of the procedure. Dr. Arslan Musbeh graduated from Odessa State Medical University in 2000, is an active member of FUE Europe, and has taught as a faculty instructor on the DIU Calvitie programme at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 since 2019. The clinic reports more than 4,500 procedures in total, with more than 3,000 performed personally by Dr. Musbeh. As with any proprietary method, patients should treat the name as a starting point for questions, and ask Dr. Musbeh during the consultation to explain exactly how the protocol applies to their own donor area and hairline. The anatomy of a well-planned FUE procedure Understanding each stage helps patients ask better questions and recognise what a careful operation looks like. Diagnosis and design. The surgeon examines the scalp, evaluates the stability of the hair loss and measures donor density. The hairline is designed with the patient, taking face shape, age and the likely future pattern of recession into account. The design should be reviewed and approved before the operation begins. Extraction. Using a fine punch, follicular units are removed from the donor area. The aim is to harvest evenly and to avoid creating zones that look thin once the hair is cut short. The depth and angle of the punch must match the direction of the follicle, otherwise there is a risk of transection, in which the follicle is cut and cannot grow. Sorting and storage. Grafts are counted, grouped by the number of hairs and kept in a suitable solution while they are outside the body. Short, controlled storage times support survival. Recipient site creation. Small channels are created at a predetermined angle, direction and depth. This stage is decisive for the natural appearance, as it fixes how each graft will sit and how the hair will grow. Implantation. Grafts are placed into the channels with attention to their orientation. Single-hair units go to the leading edge of the hairline, and multi-hair units are positioned behind it. Aftercare and review. The patient receives written instructions and a schedule for reviews during the first year. Tools and technologies: what they do and what they do not...
