PropTech investment — the sector is back in expansion mode

PropTech investment — the sector is back in expansion mode
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

It seems like the pandemic era has left us ages ago when in fact it’s only been almost three years since the world came to a screeching halt. During this time many transformations took place, from the way people work and do business to the way we’ve evolved our interactions through the use of technology.

One thing we can take from the many learnings and growth opportunities that came about during this period is that technology, especially property technology, is not something dreamed up for the future but is already present in today’s world.

“PropTech,” the acronym most commonly used for property technology that revolutionizes traditional homes and offices by grouping innovations and applying new technologies in the real estate sector is incorporating interoperability into the smart-home ecosystem.

In plain terms, PropTech is a technology that makes it easier to work with properties. But, we first need to understand just how intricate it is working with properties to better grasp how companies like TENNTS shape smart living technology and reimagine hospitality to build stronger communities.

Imagine you are renting an office building and you want to save energy by reducing the use of air conditioning, but you don’t want your tenants to suffer from heat exhaustion or freeze in the cold.

Traditional HVAC systems installed in buildings will disperse air throughout the offices even if you are not using a specific area. Advanced technology now incorporates cutting-edge solutions that enable the control of every zone independently using a single integrated system.

Now, imagine a zero-fuss property management solution that incorporates this and other smart-home technologies while securing your investment and providing you with real-time financial reports so you know the financial status of your rentals anytime, anywhere. This is what technological intelligence is all about — connecting you to your property in the easiest way.

Traditional property management

Whether you are a landlord, tenant, or investor managing a property takes up time, a whole lot of it. From dealing with rent, and handling maintenance requests to mediating complaints and more, these management styles have usually been handled as independent tasks. So when the world went digital, to mitigate the impact of the pandemic, these processes were felt keenly.

Traditional real estate suffers from the lack of automation and flexibility and that’s where PropTech companies come into play as they address these challenges providing an innovative approach to the industry.

Your gold mine in PropTech

As the world becomes more and more digital, it’s imperative that property management systems shift to digital capabilities that include IoT and big data analytics all while in the palm of your hand. PropTech, then, should solve today’s problems for tenants, landlords, and investors.

For an investor looking for assistance to manage their portfolios, choosing a PropTech company is key. According to Statista, “technological innovation is allowing companies to improve the efficiency of existing processes and introduce new products and services.”

Investing in PropTech assures you that your leasing and management experience is easier and more seamless. In order to optimize your investment and free up your time, partner with startups like TENNTS and get more value out

of smart living technology. They are currently undergoing a crowdfunding round with opportunities for early investors to join and get a share of a company aiming to disrupt the $900B rental and hospitality market.

Algorithmic FUE Explained: How Structured Planning Is Changing Hair Transplantation

Few areas of cosmetic surgery have been reshaped by technique and technology as much as hair restoration. Extraction tools have become finer, magnification has improved, and planning has moved from freehand estimates toward structured, protocol-driven work. Yet patients who read about "advanced" or "revolutionary" methods often struggle to separate genuine clinical progress from marketing language. This guide explains how modern FUE works, what it means to plan a transplant algorithmically, how Algorithmic FUE fits into that picture, and how to judge any technology claim critically. From strips to follicular units: a short history For decades, the standard approach to hair transplantation was strip surgery: a thin band of scalp was removed from the back of the head, dissected under microscopes into follicular units, and implanted into the recipient zone. The method works and remains in use for selected cases, but it leaves a linear scar and requires a longer healing period. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) emerged as an alternative in which individual units of one to four hairs are removed directly from the donor area using a small circular punch. The scars are tiny and dispersed, which allows patients to wear short hair without a visible line. As tools and training improved, FUE became the dominant technique worldwide. Its flexibility also created a challenge: because the method can be adapted in many ways, results depend heavily on the surgeon's judgement and discipline. What "algorithmic" planning means in practice In everyday language, an algorithm is simply a defined sequence of decisions. Applied to hair transplantation, it means that the key choices of the operation, where grafts are taken from, which grafts go to which zone, at what angle and density they are implanted, follow a documented logic rather than being made ad hoc during surgery. A structured plan typically addresses several questions in a deliberate order: The value of a structured method is consistency. When each case is reasoned through the same sequence, it is less likely that an important variable will be overlooked on a busy day, and it is easier to review and teach the approach to other physicians. Algorithmic FUE at Hairmedico Clinic Algorithmic FUE is the proprietary technique name used at Hairmedico Clinic in Istanbul, founded and led by Dr. Arslan Musbeh. It describes the clinic's protocol-based approach to planning graft extraction and implantation, and it is applied within a one-patient-per-day schedule so that the surgeon can supervise each step of the procedure. Dr. Arslan Musbeh graduated from Odessa State Medical University in 2000, is an active member of FUE Europe, and has taught as a faculty instructor on the DIU Calvitie programme at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 since 2019. The clinic reports more than 4,500 procedures in total, with more than 3,000 performed personally by Dr. Musbeh. As with any proprietary method, patients should treat the name as a starting point for questions, and ask Dr. Musbeh during the consultation to explain exactly how the protocol applies to their own donor area and hairline. The anatomy of a well-planned FUE procedure Understanding each stage helps patients ask better questions and recognise what a careful operation looks like. Diagnosis and design. The surgeon examines the scalp, evaluates the stability of the hair loss and measures donor density. The hairline is designed with the patient, taking face shape, age and the likely future pattern of recession into account. The design should be reviewed and approved before the operation begins. Extraction. Using a fine punch, follicular units are removed from the donor area. The aim is to harvest evenly and to avoid creating zones that look thin once the hair is cut short. The depth and angle of the punch must match the direction of the follicle, otherwise there is a risk of transection, in which the follicle is cut and cannot grow. Sorting and storage. Grafts are counted, grouped by the number of hairs and kept in a suitable solution while they are outside the body. Short, controlled storage times support survival. Recipient site creation. Small channels are created at a predetermined angle, direction and depth. This stage is decisive for the natural appearance, as it fixes how each graft will sit and how the hair will grow. Implantation. Grafts are placed into the channels with attention to their orientation. Single-hair units go to the leading edge of the hairline, and multi-hair units are positioned behind it. Aftercare and review. The patient receives written instructions and a schedule for reviews during the first year. Tools and technologies: what they do and what they do not...
