Making 2026 A Fantastic Year Means Simplifying and Amplifying, According to Leading Expert

Making 2026 A Fantastic Year Means Simplifying and Amplifying, According to Leading Expert
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Most people’s routines look like a badly written Netflix script: too many side plots, not enough editing, and definitely no happy ending. Between the colour-coded planners, the 47-step morning rituals, and the “just one more podcast” productivity hacks, it’s no wonder half of us are exhausted before breakfast. Complexity kills consistency.Instead of trying to do more, what if you focused on doing less, better? That’s where my H3A principle comes in: Momentum through Simplification. If your life feels like a hamster wheel, it’s time to stop running in circles and start steering in the right direction.

Why You Lose Momentum (and How to Regain It)

You know that feeling when you’re pushing through your to-do list like a champ, until, suddenly, you’re done, dusted, and completely derailed? Yeah, that’s not failure. That’s burnout in a sparkly disguise. Here’s why it happens:

  • You do too much too soon.
  • You never rest because you “don’t have time.”
  • You set goals that belong in a Marvel movie, not your calendar.

Momentum isn’t built by sprinting, it’s built by pacing. Nothing kills your progress faster than a habit that puts the handbrake on your momentum. You’ve got one, trust me. It’s that sneaky thing that quietly drags you backwards while you think you’re moving forward. For some, it’s overthinking. For others, it’s poor sleep or that “just one more scroll” before bed. Either way, if your mindset and rest are out of whack, your progress will always stall, no matter how hard you press the accelerator.

Simplify First, Amplify

Later

Before you can soar, you’ve got to declutter your wings. The Simplify to Amplify strategy is about cutting the crap, literally.Start with your to-do list. If you can’t remember why something’s on it, it probably shouldn’t be. Then look at your energy leaks, the habits, commitments, and people who drain you faster than a dodgy phone battery. When you simplify, you don’t lose drive, you gain direction. Clarity isn’t quiet; it’s powerful. It gives you permission to focus on what actually moves the needle instead of polishing the edges of tasks that don’t matter.

Micro Momentum: Small Wins That Build Big Results

Big change starts with micro-momentum; the tiny, boring, unsexy habits that you repeat until they become habits. Habits are pretty hard to break, the last time I checked.Think of it like brushing your teeth: you don’t get a standing ovation for doing it, but skip it long enough and everyone notices. When I was rebuilding my own life, I didn’t start with a 5am bootcamp and a kale smoothie. I started by drinking more water. Getting better sleep. Taking a ten-minute walk. Those little wins stacked up, and before I knew it, the momentum had a mind of its own.Micro-momentum is where consistency lives, and once you’ve got it, you’re basically unstoppable.

Sleep + Mindset = Momentum Fuel

If you’re sleeping four hours a night and calling it “grind culture,” what you’re actually doing is sabotaging yourself.Sleep and mindset are your momentum fuel. You can’t run on fumes and expect to thrive. Here’s a little “Loz Life” routine to get you started:

  1. Morning: Move your body for five minutes, drink water before coffee, and write down one non-negotiable for the day.
  2. Evening: No screens 30 minutes before bed, gratitude brain dump (yes, even if you’re grumpy), and lights out before midnight.

Simple. Sustainable. Effective.

The Power of Doing Less (Well)

Momentum isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters, consistently. So, stop starting over. Simplify first, amplify later, and if you’re ready to master your own momentum, dive into the Mojo Dojo where we’re hyper-focusing on achieving YOUR goals.
