He only appears between noon EST on Friday to midnight EST on Tuesday, and his place changes each week. This guide will help you locate him in Destiny 2, so you don’t have to hunt for him.
Who is XUR?
Xur is an agent of the Nine and a vendor in Destiny 2. He sells Legendary items for shards, only appearing on weekends between midnight EST Friday to midnight EST Tuesday each week- with his location changing every single time! Xur can be found at any public sector – European Dead Zone (EDZ), Titan moonbase orbiting Saturn’s most significant natural satellite, IO space station just outside Neo Tokyo Bay., Nessus PlanitiaFleetyard located deep within Mars Boote’s territories. With such a vast area that needs exploring, there’s no guarantee what you’ll find when he shows up but rest assured knowing we will let people know exactly where so they don’t have to hunt down this powerful seller ourselves.
Where to find Xur (October 8 to 12)
Xur, Agent of the Nine, is back in Destiny 2 next week. If you’re looking for him at his usual spot on Friday mornings, then keep an eye out because he’ll be here again on October 8-12th. Has are some details that might help track him down easier than before. First off, know how far away Xur should be when we see where he travels from; secondly, make sure your Light level is high enough (at least 300) and thirdly, check if any events or Flashpoints have occurred recently within range since they could impact finding The Dealer: low light levels will reduce visibility. At the same time, certain activities like Patrol missions raise their importance significantly – meaning there are more chances.
Location Guide:
Xur location, the elusive Fortune-Teller, has finally arrived at Earth Winding Cove this weekend in Destiny 2. You may find it on EDZ. He’s standing high up on a cliff and can be found just below him if you search for Xur with your eyes closed! To locate him quickly, follow these instructions:
- First jump upwards onto all of those little platforms/leaps that lead towards where he is located;
- Next, open them by walking over their edge (careful not to fall off). When we reach his perch near the top-level ground – there’ll find XuR waiting patiently inside an ornate tent complete with treasure chests containing EXOTIC GUNS AND ARMOR!!
Xur’s wares for this week
Telesto, a 29 Legendary Fusion Rifle:
Telesto is the perfect fusion rifle for those who like to stay hidden and snipe from afar. This exotic shoots void projectiles that attach onto enemies, but it’s not just about tagging someone with an exploding tag! The delayed blast lets you disengage once your shot connects successfully while still dealing out some high damage shots in close combat situations as well. It takes 29 Legendary Shards to purchase this powerful weapon at any level above Level 1.
Winter’s Guile (Warlock) — 23 Legendary Shards:
There are other options for those who prefer to stay blood-free. The Warlock class has a glove that allows them to do just that: punch their enemies and take away some health with every blow! You could also go Voidwalker build, which makes you into an actual vampire – no more than biting people will they get scaring poor monsters out of town for you?
The Bombardiers (Hunter) — 23 Legendary Shards:
The Bombardiers give you a chance to make your escape from agile hunters. Whenever you roll dodge while wearing these boots, they explode behind an enemy chasing after you!
The Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan) — 23 Legendary Shards:
This powerful ability turns your titan into a charging bull that can charge through enemies while regenerating its energy and sending out waves of force to damage them! If sprinting with Seismic Strike, Shield Bash or Hammer strike equipped, you’ll be given an over shield when landing hits on enemy targets which will provide some melee-based regeneration to keep yourself alive during combat situations.
Exotic Cipher Quest — Xenology (FREE):
Exotic Cyphers allow players to obtain older exotic weapons. Every week, Xur will sell one of these ancient relics for a rare coin known as the ‘exotic cypher’. This week, Xur is selling a new exotic quest. This time around, it’s called Xenology and requires players to clear strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches to get their hands on some older weapons from before Destiny hit shelves!
Xur’s Legendary Inventory this Week:
Xur has finally arrived to sell some of his rare wares! As of season three, Xur sells a collection similar in style and rarity to Banshee-44 or Ada-1. The items can be difficult enough to be from seasons long past, but with only 1k Glimmer per item (and 50 legendary shards), it doesn’t take much time investment either way.

Xur also provides the Five of Sword Challenges Card.
Xur also has a Five of Sword challenges card, which can be obtained through Modifying Nightfall difficulty. If you complete Invitation of the Nine bounties, it will give you a powerful legendary engram for each finished and some cinematics that offer more information about nine themselves.
