A British police officer has been charged with terrorism for allegedly supporting the Hamas group semislot88, which is banned in the country as a terrorist organization. The British police officer was arrested and charged after posting an image supporting Hamas.
As reported by Reuters, Thursday (2/5/2024), the policeman named Mohammed Adil, who is 26 years old, is said to be from Bradford, northern England. He was arrested in November last year and charged on Monday (29/4) local time following an investigation carried out by the UK’s counter-terrorism unit.
The charges against Adil were announced by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.
