Install a glass image yourself

Before installing a glass picture on the wall, use the following tools.
Tools are needed to install a glass picture to the wall
- The cardboard packaging of the glass image (will be used as a template for the installation).
- Drawing tool (pen, pencil preferably).
- Drill (a hammer is better if the wall is concrete).
- 8 mm hand drill.
- Dowel 8 mm 6h
- Level (important for straight installation).
- Extension cable if necessary.
- Maskintape.
- Spacers including screws provided by the manufacturer of the glass picture.

- Remove the glass image from the packing carton.
- Place the glass on the cardboard and with a pen or pencil mark around the glass the size of the glass.
- Mark the holes in the glass on top of the cardboard.
Step of drilling the holes in the wall to hang the glass
- Place the cardboard template you made on the wall where you are
- Interested in installing the image.
- Attach the stencil to the wall using Maskintape.
- Check with a level that the image is positioned straight (it is very important not to give up).
- Mount the 8 mm drill in the hammer and drill a hole in the markings on the cardboard template (the hole should be at the depth of the dowel).
- Check that the holes match the dowels before removing the cardboard template.
- Place the dowels in the holes you made in the wall.
- Using screws, mount the spacers provided by the supplier to the dowels in the wall. If the glass image is large, get the help of another person.
- Place the glass image on the spacers and screw the screws to the spacers.
- To finish, clean the glass image with window fluid and a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches.
Tip: under no circumstances clean the glass with a newspaper (the glass will be scratched).
